A simple iPhone app to help you remember.
Ever got to the store and regretted thinking that the thing you had to buy was so unforgettable that you didn't need to write it down somewhere? Ever set out on vacation so overcome with the need to remember your passport and wallet that you forgot all your toiletries? Probably not. But I have, which is why I made Complete.
It's a dead simple checklist app with 'nested' items, meaning you can have lists inside lists. Like gifts -> dad -> sock/shaving cream. When you complete an item its completion icon will turn white, and its 'parent' item completion icon will show how many of its sub-items are completed.
And that's pretty much it. No signing in or syncing or anything like that (for now!). Just a simple list in your pocket.
Features
- Nested items
- Tap an item to expand and show its children. Tap again to collapse the item and hide its children.
- Tap the completion ring to mark an item complete.
- At-a-glance confirmation of what proportion of an items sub-items are complete by looking at the completion ring.
- Drag items around - move them under other items to add as a sub item. Collapse an item, and you can move it with its children.
- Easy entry of items. Quick buttons above keyboard to add items in succession.
Common Questions
How do I view an item's contents.
ong tap the item - just tap-and-hold for a second.
How do I move an item?
Just tap-and-hold the grip icon on the right of an item (which looks like three horizontal bars). Then move your finger up and down and the item will follow.
I moved an item and all it's sub items were disconnected! What happened?
When you move an item you can either move it with its sub-items or without. If an item is expanded (open, so you can see it's sub-items) it will move by itself, and lose its relationship to them. When an item is collapsed (so you cannot see its sub-items) it will take its sub-items with it when it moves.
So - to move an item with its children, close it first!
How do I move an item to be inside another item?
First, expand the target ('parent') item so you can see the '+' icon right below it. Drag the other item below it. The item should now be nested under the first item.
